I think I love this girl. Really. I am not kidding, I literally adore her! Danielle is the warmest, kindest and brightest lady I have met in quite some time, she stands out a mile from the crowd due to the warmth of her smile, what a lady. Paul makes me laugh, kind of because I know if I was him I would be the same, it is like he is standing by her giggling to himself about how lucky he is to have her.
This wedding day was slightly different to the norm here for us in Ireland. Different however, is always pretty welcome to me. Given that the clocks had just changed I was a little nervous, which is highly unusual for me as I am so obsessed wtih weddings. I was wary that it might be too dark for our planned shots down by Guinness but sure why should I worry, my bride came EARLY. Yes, early, that is how excited she was to marry the charmingly happy Paul, she was so eager to get down that aisle even the priest was surprised by her time keeping.
Admittedly, despite the early arrival, we were still surrounded by darkness when we arrived at our location. We were about 20 minutes past sunset which of course makes photography quite difficult but being Danielle and Paul, my job was made easier by their happiness and eagerness to get the job at hand done. We were blessed with a driver (of an awesome car) who kindly obliged my outrageous requests for him to reverse and drive forward, supplying us with the light from his car to obtain the shots we needed and within 9 minutes we left the street in darkness as we headed on into the celebrations for this beautiful couple.
Now marriage is filled with so many things, of course there is love, that's the bit that makes you feel warm and tingly guys but there is also a few other important things. Respect, this is when Paul holds doors open for Danielle, appreciation, this is when he stands in grinning awe, looking at his beautiful bride (you lucky man) and happiness, this is spread across her face as Danielle knows what a catch she has in Paul and how he will forever be her biggest admirer and her true love.
To Danielle and Paul, I truly thank you, not just for allowing me to capture your memories but for also giving me the memories of you, you are so wonderful and inspirational, if the rest of the world could smile half as much as you guys do it would be an extremely happy place. I beg and plead for you never to change, as there is no advice I can give you that could possibly improve what you both have so please just stay, exactly as you are.
With all of my love, wishes, and respect sent to you,
