December can be such a beautiful month to marry. Hearts are naturally filled with love at this time of year and familys want nothing more than to spend time together. The only draw back really is weather however Deirdre and Sean were blessed with their day. Although cold, something which obviously had no effect on Deirdre, the day was dry and mild.
After a lovely relaxing morning with preparations it was heart warming to see the excitement on the faces as guests arrived at the church, a beautiful quaint setting near Blessington in Co. Wicklow. With a ceremony performed by a family friend everything went without a hitch and was completely personal to the bride and groom. The happiness and excitement they both shared was a beauty to witness and Deirdre's insistence that not only did they greet their guests outside but they did so with each of their parents made it even more personal, of course knowing not everyone may stand the cold as easy, she ensured there was a hot drinks stand to keep her guests warm and refreshed.
The Kaedeen Hotel leaves you wanting for nothing, beautiful gardens, lights throughout and being family run they give the warmest welcome you could ask for. The rooms throughout the hotel were filled with laughter as guests reminisced on the old times and their festive seasons. We set out for our shoot outside as the guests enjoyed refreshments and entertainment, I was taken aback at how natural and considerate Deirdre and Sean were together, a couple who are appreciative of all they have and the time they spend together.
Overall I left this wedding with happiness in my heart, knowing that I have been given an insight into the lives of yet another beautiful couple and their families and thankful of how my own life is improved with each wedding I do.
Sean and Deirdre, I hope for you to continue together along the perfect path you have created, always mindful of the truly special love you share and forever sharing those beautiful smiles creating a future full of happiness. It has been an honour and I thank you for having me.
